Quite a spectacle

I must admit, I was secretly quite please that I was going blind... that is until I realized I look like Millhouse! From then on my sexy secretary dreams were dashed and I'm faced with the uncool reality...I need reading glasses and every single pair make me look like Bart Simpson's klutzy best friend... which the truth be told is probably a better fit with my personality than any demure 1960s art critic I was hoping to embody. So now the search is on for a pair of spectacles that I can slip on my face when it comes time to reading without too much embarrassment. I thought I'd run my quest past you my stylish readers... any faves so far? {sigh}

I actually really like the first pair. I think they make you look like the 60's art critic you have been imagining!

Selin- I thought I'd test the grounds with some new pairs before I got into the world of vintage frames. That's next on my search. xo

Hello just discovered your blog and LOVE it -your adorable! As for the glasses? I am going with number #3 they are well balanced with the shape of your face, while the other ones seem to distract from your face.

P.S I also just got glasses and they are so much FUN. I love popping them on right before I have to read something important. xo veronika

you're SO cute ashi!!!! girl, definitely not uncool and love #1, the angle of the frame is sexy for sure. my eyes are taking longer to focus too, i'll be on a quest soon for some peeper enhancers myself, thanks for sharing your experience. i'm kinda looking forward to it. thanks also for your antique store tip, anything not to experience car sickness right?! xo ♥

I really love the third pair, the frames being darker at the top & lighter on the bottom really compliment your face! The others are lovely too especially the fourth...you'll find your perfect pair, don't worry :)

I think glasses suit your face wonderfully! The third pair are my favourites, they're lovely.
