A few snaps from the lovely Playa de Figueretas, the beach we stayed off of while in Ibiza. It's a quiet little nook that caters to a nice mix; travelers, locals, families and young couples. What it doesn't have is passed out party-goers or the all day binge-drinking techno beach parties which have sadly consumed so many of Ibiza's nicest beach fronts such as Playa Den Bossa or the infamous San Antonio Bay {a mecca for public displays of absurdity}. Come to think of it, our holiday could have turned out so completely different had we not have consulted our best buds and favourite world-traveling couple Phyllis & Sebastien. These two have traveled everywhere, including Ibiza. They kindly gave us the full run-down {and the warnings} and set us in the right direction.
Call me old fashioned, but I'd much rather listen to the sound of waves as opposed to the same cheesy house beat all day long....
Plus... our metal detector beach guy was much better dressed than theirs!
