We've had the nicest day in Central London today. The weather has been nice and mild so we've been able to walk and explore the entire day.
We kicked off with an Italian coffee and then bolted over to Alfie's Antique Market where we hoped to find some stash for the store. I thought it was a definite good thrifting omen when I saw my favorite car parked outside the place, but it turns out the place had more furniture and jewelry than it did fancy threads. That doesn't mean I didn't spend hours trying on sparkly, antique, engagement rings! We spent the rest of the day walking through the hordes of shoppers and St. Patrick's Day revelers; dodging the crowds at every chance down Soho's back, cobble lanes. We finally gave into the green cheer and curled up in a nice pub for a post day-tripping glass of vino and cuddle. After trying on all those emeralds today, I now know why they're so fond of the green. What, Joan Rivers isn't Irish?
